We will be meeting January 20th, 6pm at Oskar Blues for a casual social general meeting. Families are invited to stop by, connect with other parents and guardians, and hear brief PTO updates while enjoying food and conversation. Whether you’re new or returning, this is an easy way to stay connected. Questions?
The PTO is kicking off the new year with a Social Gathering for our General Meeting — and we’re inviting every Flagstaff family to join us for a relaxed, community-centered evening!
Instead of gathering in the school library, we’re meeting at a local restaurant for a laid-back night of connection, conversation, and collaboration. This casual format gives families the chance to meet one another, connect with PTO volunteers, and hear what’s coming up this semester in a friendly, comfortable environment.
Please note: This is a no-host gathering, meaning families are welcome to order food and drinks on their own if they’d like to enjoy a meal during the meeting. There’s no cost to attend, and no expectation to purchase anything — just come as you are and spend some time with your fellow Dragons.
What to Expect
Our General Meetings are open to all parents and guardians — as a Flagstaff family, you are already a member of the PTO. This evening is designed to be welcoming, helpful, and low-pressure. During our time together, we’ll:
- A quick rundown of what’s coming up for the PTO
- A few light updates on spring projects and events
- Casual conversation about ways to get involved
- Space to swap ideas, ask questions, or just listen in
- Plenty of time to relax, chat, and meet other Dragon families
Whether you’re deeply involved with the PTO or just dipping your toes in, this is the perfect chance to see what’s happening and meet the people who help bring PTO programs to life.
Why a Casual Meeting?
Flagstaff families told us they value community connection — not just structure and agendas. By hosting a meeting in a comfortable, social environment, we hope to:
- Make participation feel easier and more welcoming
- Encourage conversation and collaboration
- Give parents the opportunity to meet outside the busy school rush
- Build stronger relationships between families, volunteers, and staff
The PTO thrives when our community feels connected, and this new meeting style is one way we’re making space for that.
We’d Love to See You There
