Wednesday morning, our teachers were welcomed with a simple treat—bagels and cream cheese—waiting for them as they started their day. It may seem like a small gesture, but moments like these are one of the ways the PTO shows appreciation for the incredible work our educators do every day for our students.
Hospitality events like this are made possible through the support of our school community. When families donate, attend PTO events, or participate in fundraising efforts, it allows us to create meaningful ways to support the people who make our school so special.
Throughout the year, PTO funding helps in many ways—from small moments of appreciation like a breakfast treat to much larger impacts, like teacher grants that bring new materials, learning tools, and classroom experiences directly to students. This spring alone, we were proud to award $18,000 in teacher grants, along with an additional round of micro-grants to support immediate classroom needs.
Every auction bid, donation, and event ticket helps make these things possible.
Our upcoming PTO auction, Cheers to Flagstaff Academy, is one of the biggest ways our community comes together to support our teachers and school. Whether you attend, bid on an item, donate an experience, or simply help spread the word, your support goes directly back into programs that benefit both students and educators.
Because sometimes the biggest impacts start with something as simple as a bagel and a thank you.
